In my attempt to (finally) get back to blogging, I am going to dedicate time this week to redesign and upload pictures to my blog. First, it's time for an update...
This week, I was fortunate and blessed enough to celebrate Abbey and Zach's birthdays. Abbey turned 3 on Sunday and Zach turned 8 yesterday. Although, if you ask them, Abbey will be 6 next week and Zachary is already 9. I LOVE how they just pick an age they want. Oh, what it would be like to be a kid again!
Tuesday we met up with some old friends - Zachary's friend from Butler and his mom for dinner. It was so nice being able to see them and catch up - and enjoy a yummy dinner at TX Roadhouse.
Yesterday was Zachary's birthday - and my Godson's birthday. Luckily, my Godson is cooperating with my request to wait until Saturday so I can be there for his birth... at least he's cooperating so far. We'll see... I haven't met him but I love him already! If he wants to surprise us today, I'm ok with that! Wish Mommy and Daddy would tell us his name though! :) We spent the evening with Grandma and Pap Pap, having pizza, cupcakes, cookies, and carving pumpkins. SO much fun! To end the evening, we drove out to Freeport and walked in the Halloween Parade. Some of the costumes were amazing. Zach particularly liked seeing the Marshmallow guy from Ghostbusters, as he was dressed as a Ghostbuster and have the vacuum pack to prove it.
Tonight, I think we may have a quiet evening at home - we definitely need it!
